A) Ship To Us (Storage)
Message us your location and we will generate a Digital QR Waybill for you. Just scan the code at any Yamato Sales Office to print your label instantly. No manual Japanese forms required.
B) Ship From Us (Your Trip)
Provide your trip details 7 days in advance. We ship your gear directly to your hotel or snow resort so it is ready for your first run.

Can I drop off or request pickup?+
Absolutely. We will suggest a convenient drop-off location for you, or you can choose a pickup date and location and we will arrange collection.
How does shipping back to me work?+
Send your destination and preferred delivery date at least 7 days before your ski date. We can ship directly to selected snow resorts or your hotel, and coordinate timing so your gear is ready when you arrive.
Can I drop off gear at the snow resort after my trip?+
Yes, at selected resorts. You can drop off your gear at the resort reception/front desk and we can arrange the return shipment from there.
Do I need a dedicated cover?+
You can pack everything in your own ski/snowboard bag. For shipping to us, Yamato still requires a dedicated transport cover: if you drop off at a Yamato Transport Sales Office, you can buy one there (Ski Cover ¥400 / Snowboard Cover ¥600). If you request pickup, the sales driver will bring the dedicated cover to you.
Can I send ski gear from convenience stores?+
No. Ski/snowboard items are not accepted at convenience stores and some partner counters. We guide you to valid drop-off or pickup options.
Important shipping precautions+
Maximum carrier liability is ¥300,000 per package. Bring your sender's copy of the shipping invoice when collecting at the resort. For large quantities, gear may need to be split into separate packages.
Are there size or weight limits?+
Yes. Packages over 30kg are not accepted. Optional extra storage bags are limited to 30cm (L) x 68cm (W) x 63cm (H).
Can I send an all-in-one snowboard bag?+
Yes. You can pack your board, boots, and outerwear in one bag. As long as it is under 30kg, it is covered by the standard ¥29,000 annual plan.
How does pricing work?+
¥29,000 covers one annual All-in-One bag with your setup (skis/board, boots, and wear), as long as total weight is under 30kg. Optional additional storage bag is +¥11,900/year per bag (max 30cm L x 68cm W x 63cm H). Shipping is +¥5,900 per shipment across Japan (excluding Okinawa).
